Arsenal, Milan want Jaask

17 November 2007 - 12:46

Jussi Jaaskelainen is wanted by both Arsenal and AC Milan. The goalkeeper is out of contract next summer and has refused a new deal at Bolton. The keeper is one of the best in the Premiership and Arsene Wenger has long been a fan.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • Arsene Wenger wants to sign him on a free transfer in June but Inter and AC Milan can approach him in January under the Bosman rule.

Clubs are legally allowed to speak to Jaaskelainen on January the 1st, and Bolton will be unable to keep the keeper at the club if he continues to reject their new deal.

The 32-year-old shot stopper from Finland was named as BWFC "Player Of The Year Award" last year, and helped secure Bolton with European football for the second time ever.
