Barcelona are reportedly set to offer Cameroonian International Alex Song at a cut-price deal of £10m during the winter transfer window.

  • The Cameroon midfielder has failed to settle at the Nou Camp since his switch from the Gunners last summer for a transfer fee of £15m, and looks set to leave the Spanish Champions in January following public criticism from manager Gerardo Martino in the club's 4-1 Copa del Rey win over Cartagena last week.

However, Arsenal look unlikely to take the offer, following the signing of Mathieu Flamini during the summer, who has proven his worth to the club.

This gives Manchester United manager David Moyes the perfect platform to land the African defensive midfielder, who was considered as one of the best in the Premier League during his stint with the Gunners in the 2011/12 Premier League season.
