Premier League champions Manchester United are reportedly planning a January swoop for Dutch midfield star Wesley Sneijder.
The Red Devils were rumoured to be interested in signing the player during 2011/12 season, but the move was held back due to the player's high demand in wages.
Sneijder, who now plys his trade with Turkish outfit Galatasaray, is understood to be interested in making a move to the England's top tier, as this could increase his chances of featuring for the Netherlands regularly during the World Cup finals in Brazil next year.
The Guardian reports that manager David Moyes could trigger Sneijder's release clause which now stands at £13m, as he aims to strengthen the club's midfield setup during the January transfer window.
Sneijder has been capped 96 times by the Dutch national side.
