Manchester United full-back Alexander Buttner is reportedly considered as a loan target for Serie A duo of Roma and Genoa during the winter transfer window.
The 24-year-old who joined the club last summer from high flying Vitesse Arnhem under Sir Alex Ferguson, has failed to dislodge veteran defender Patrick Evra from the starting line-up and looks likely to leave the Manchester outfit on a temporary basis during the upcoming transfer window.
The Mirror reports that the Serie A pair are interested in securing the services of the Dutch Under-20 international on a loan deal, but the Red Devils manager David Moyes is believed to be keen on offloading the player on a permanent transfer, as he is not considered a part of the Scot's plans for the future.
Buttner has made just two appearances for the Red Devils in the Premier League this season.
