Croatian international Nikica Jelavic is apparently linked with a move to Stoke City in January, according to The Daily Mail.
The Potters boss Mark Hughes considers the talented Everton striker as a top transfer target, as he aims to solve the club's striker crisis, having seen his main men in Peter Crouch and Jonathan Walters fail to shine this season.<br />
Everton boss Roberto Martinez had earlier insisted that he is open to the sale of the former Rangers man, as a lack of first-team would hamper the player's chances of featuring for the Croatian national side during the World Cup finals in Brazil next year.<br />
“If the right thing appears for the players, I will have to consider it and look into it,” Martinez said. “I am quite open-minded about it. If they don’t play minutes. It will affect their World Cup chances. I can understand that."<br />
Jelavic has struggled for form at the Toffees this season, and has yet to score a goal in the League so far.
