Manchester United are reportedly preparing a January transfer offer to secure the services of Southampton captain Adam Lallana, according to The Daily Star.
The Red Devils boss David Moyes is keen on adding new recruits in the midfield department during the upcoming transfer window and will make a move for the talented England international.
However, the Premier League champions would find it hard to lure the Saints in allowing the sale of the 25-year-old, who has been in top form for the South Coast club in recent seasons, which has seen the player's price rise to £15m.
Lallana has been with the Saints since 2000.
