French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain have joined the race to land the signature of Sevilla captain Ivan Rakitic in the winter transfer window.
The Croatian international has been in top form for the La Liga outfit, having amassed seven goals and eight assists in the league since the start of the campaign.
Liverpool and Manchester United have been linked with the player's services in recent weeks, but a report from Gazella dello Sport claims that Les Parisiens have advanced as favourites to land the Croatian's signature during the New Year.
