Swansea City are considering a move for Inter Milan defender Alvaro Pereira in the January transfer window.
The 28-year-old Uruguayan full-back signed for the Nerazzurri during the 2012 summer transfer window, but has fallen down the pecking order at the club since the appointment of manager Walter Mazzarri, who considers the player as surplus to his requirements at San Siro.<br />
According to The Mirror, Inter Milan are open to the sale of the talented defender in January, with Swansea looking to secure his services on loan, with a view to a permanent transfer next season.<br />
Fulham are also monitoring the defender.
