Manchester United are reportedly on the verge of making a bid worth £41m for the services of German and Borussia Dortmund star midfielder Marco Reus in the winter transfer window.
The Red Devils manager David Moyes is desperate to add new recruits in midfield in January, and is in the search for top talents in the transfer market.
According to German newspaper Ruhrnachrichten, the Premier League champions are set to trigger player's buy-out clause, which currently stands at £41m.
It is understood that Marco Reus could prefer the switch to the Red Devils, with the prospect of facing a fresh challenge in the World's elite football league.
Manchester United are currently placed 7th in the Premier League table, following yesterday's 2-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford.
