Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling is a surprise target for Swansea City. The Welsh club's manager Michael Laudrup wants to bring in some attacking quality for the second half of the season, having lost Michu to a long term injury.
Sterling is currently enjoying a run in Liverpool's first team but it is understood that manager Brendan Rodgers wants the player to garner more first team experience elsewhere and a move to Swansea is one opportunity for the player ahead of next summer's World Cup.<br />
Michael Laudrup is ready to table a loan bid for Sterling and is confident that a deal will be agreed during the January transfer window for a short term three month deal.
