Wilson Palacios leaving Stoke City to join Real Betis?

Stoke City midfielder Wilson Palacios will make a move to La Liga side Real Betis in the January transfer window, according to reports emanating from Spain. The former Tottenham player will join Betis in a deal worth around £500,000.

Palacios has been in and around the first team at Stoke under current manager Mark Hughes, but is reportedly set to quit for a move elsewhere after the Spanish club made a bid for the player.<br />

The midfielder is amongst the players expected to leave the Britannia Stadium in the January transfer window, alongside Peter Crouch, who has been linked with a transfer to QPR and Crystal Palace.
