Aston Villa have reportedly made an initial bid of £1.5m for the services of Nowrich City midfielder Wes Hoolahan in the winter transfer window, according to The Mirror.
The Villans manager Paul Lambert is considered to be keen on adding experienced players to his squad in the January transfer window, and considers his former player as a top transfer target.<br />
The Mirror claims that Villa have made a bid worth £1.5m to secure the services of the talented Republic of Ireland international.<br />
Wes Hoolahan joined the Canaries from Championship outfit Blackpool in 2008.
