Man Utd to bring in new players in January

05 January 2014 - 20:51

Manchester United manager David Moyes expects to be busy in the January transfer window after admitting the club needs to sign new players. The Red Devils slumped to a 2-1 FA Cup defeat at Old Trafford versus Swansea City.

  • Chelsea ready to pay €75m for Eduardo Camavinga
  • Chelsea planning move for Strasbourg striker Joaquin Panichelli

  • Manchester United are seemingly looking to bring in a new left back and Everton's star Leighton Baines has long been linked with a move, whilst United are also looking for a new attacking midfielder.

Moyes admitted after the Swansea defeat that there remains an urgency for his club to be busy in the transfer window: "There is an urgency that we would like to bring people in but are those players available in January? So there is no point in me hyping it up because the players we would like to bring in are probably not available, not because we don't want to do it."
