QPR slap £16m price on Newcastle loan star Loic Remy

Queens Park Rangers' manager Redknapp has slapped a massive price tag on French international striker Loic Remy. The player has spent the season on loan at Newcastle and has made a big impression.

  • Arsenal to swap Gabriel Jesus for Inter Milan star?
  • Arsenal leading race to sign Belgian midfielder

  • The player has been a rip roaring success at St James' Park since his loan arrival, and now Harry Redknapp is ready to price Newcastle out of the market with a huge price on the player.

"You would think they would want to snap him up because, if they don't, somebody else will for that money," said Redknapp. "We paid eight million pounds and he’s worth double that because of the goals he’s scored in the Premier League.

"He would be a great player if he came back, but he wanted to go. He's not going to want to come back here and play in the Championship. If someone came in and offered 16 million pounds for him, I would sell him if it was my choice."
