Red Bulls make an approach for Barcelona star

Major League Soccer side New York Red Bulls offered Barcelona legend Xavi Hernandez a chance to play in America. The 33 year old has recently said that his long term future lies away from Barca and that he would like to experience a different league to the La Liga.

  • Nothing is expected to happen before 2016, when his contract expires but it seems Red Bulls are already starting to do the ground work to tempt the Spanish International across the Atlantic.



    Thierry Henry currently playing at Red Bulls and a former team mate of Xavi has already been in the midfielder’s year and has spoken to him about life at the club.



    Xavi a product of la Masia has spent his entire career at La Blaugrana making 698 appearances for the club.
