Jonathan Walters linked with transfer to Crystal Palace

11 January 2014 - 16:44

Stoke City striker Jonathan Walters has been linked with a move to Premier League rivals Crystal Palace. Walters' former manager at Stoke City, Tony Pulis, is considering a raid on his former club to bring in the forward.

  • 30-year-old Walters has been a big favourite at Stoke City after being brought through by Pulis at the Brittannia Stadium. The player arrived at Stoke in 2010 from Ipswich Town as part of a £3.75 million deal and club manager Mark Hughes is hoping to redeem at least £2.5 million this January.

Walters has been an almost ever present in the first team at Stoke and many will be disappointed to see the player change clubs.
