Reports in England suggest that Liverpool are interested in signing PSV Eindhoven captain Georginio Wijnaldum. The reports also suggest that Liverpool manager will make a bid of £9 million for the 23 year old.
The three times capped Dutch international was appointed the captain of PSV at the start of the season by manager Philip Cocu.
After a good start to the season where he netted four goals in six matches he suffered a back injury but he is set to return in the next few weeks.
Wijnaldum was signed from Feyenoord in 2011 and has since made 105 appearances for the club scoring 38 goals.
