Liverpool Interested in PSV captain

Reports in England suggest that Liverpool are interested in signing PSV Eindhoven captain Georginio Wijnaldum. The reports also suggest that Liverpool manager will make a bid of £9 million for the 23 year old.

The three times capped Dutch international was appointed the captain of PSV at the start of the season by manager Philip Cocu.<br />

After a good start to the season where he netted four goals in six matches he suffered a back injury but he is set to return in the next few weeks.<br />

Wijnaldum was signed from Feyenoord in 2011 and has since made 105 appearances for the club scoring 38 goals.
