West Ham eye Wayne Hennessey loan deal

West Ham eye move for Wolves Shot-stopper

West Ham eye Wayne Hennessey loan deal

12 January 2014 - 11:45

West Ham United are hoping to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers shot-stopper Wayne Hennessey on loan during the winter transfer window.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • The Hammers boss Sam Allardyce considers the Wolves goalie as a top transfer target for the club, who have had a below-par season in the Premier League this season, as they find themselves just above the drop zone.

The People claims that the Welsh international has had a fall out with Wolves manager Kenny Jackett as he refused to feature for the club against Gillingham, amid speculation linking him with a move to Crystal Palace.

West Ham are expected to sign Hennessey on loan for the rest of the season.

Hennessey has been at Wolves since 2003.
