Benfica midfield star Nemanja Matic could be set to make a return to Chelsea in a deal with £20m during the January transfer window.

The Serbian international, who joined the Blues in 2009, failed to make any impression in the first-team as he was limited to just two appearances for the West London outfit before his departure to Primeira Liga giants Benfica in 2011.<br />

Matic has been attracting interest from the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal in recent weeks, but according to SkySports, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is willing to pay a fee of around &pound;20m for the player's services in January.<br />

The 25-year-old has made 22 appearances for Benfica in all competitions this season.
