West Brom's Shane Long closing in on Hull transfer

West Bromwich Albion are understood to have accepted a transfer offer from Hull City for the services of Republic of Ireland international Shane Long.

The Tigers manager Steve Bruce failed in signing the talented striker in the summer, as the club failed to agree on a move.



According to BBC Sport, the Baggies have accepted an offer in the region of £7m with additional benefits for the Republic of Ireland international, who is expected to have a medical ahead of his move to Hull later today.



Long has made 17 appearances for the Baggies this season.
