Fulham make bid for Swansea's Neil Taylor

20 January 2014 - 12:08

Fulham have reportedly made a bid worth £4m for the services of Welsh full-back Neil Taylor from Swansea during the winter transfer window, according to the Times.

  • Arsenal leading race to sign Belgian midfielder

  • Taylor has failed to cement his place in the Swans first-team this season, following the emergence of Ben Davies, who deputised for the talented right-back during his long-term injury setback last season.

The Times claims that Fulham boss Rene Meulensteen is keen on strengthening the defensive setup in January in order to save the club from the drop this season, and considers Taylor as a top transfer priority.

Taylor has been capped 14 times by the Welsh national side.
