Norwich City eye swoop for Stoke's Glenn Whelan

24 January 2014 - 07:06

Stoke City are ready to let experienced central midfielder Glenn Whelan leave and Norwich City's boss Chris Hughton is considering a transfer move for the 30-year-old.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
  • Whelan has been at Stoke City since 2008 when the then manager Tony Pulis purchased the Irish international from Sheffield Wednesday.

The midfielder has always been an important member of Stoke City's squad but the current manager there, Mark Hughes, is open to all offers for the player and is ready to let him leave for as little as £1 million.
