24 January 2014 - 07:21

West Ham manager Sam Allardyce is ready to make a move for Catania striker Maxi Lopez. The Argentinian forward is ready to swap Italy for England in a deal worth a reported 5 million Euros.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
  • The striker is being lined up as a partner for Andy Carroll at Upton Park and has been told that he is free to leave the Serie A outfit in the January transfer window.

Lopez, who has had spells playing in Russia as well as Spanish giants Barcelona, is hoping that a deal will be wrapped up soon and is expected to nearly double his salary with a move to the Premier League.
