Arsenal scout sent to watch Charlton defender Jordan Cousins

24 January 2014 - 07:51

Arsenal chief scout Steve Rowley was spotted watching Charlton Athletic right back Jordan Cousins. The 19-year-old is amongst a crop of young players who are currently being monitored by the Gunners.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
  • Arsenal already acquired a full back from Charlton in the past, as defender Carl Jenkinson was indeed signed from the team two years ago as well.

The Gunners recently appointed a new head of youth development, Andries Jonker, and Arsene Wenger is said to be actively seeking a batch of new talent for Jonker to work with.

Arsenal will pay a reported £500,000 to secure the defender's signature.
