West Ham eye Leeds striker

According to reports West Ham United have made a bid for Leeds United striker Ross McCormack. The 27 year old has scored 17 league goals this season in only 21 matches.

  • The Hammers have been poor in front of goal so far this season having scored only 22 goals this season. Manager Sam Allardyce has made signing a striker a priority this window and having failed to lure Lacina Traore from Monaco turned his eyes on McCormack.



    The Scotland international for his part has been outstanding for the promotion chasing Yorkshire side this season and only signed a new contract at Elland Road earlier this term.



    The former Motherwell only arrived at Leeds in 2010 from Cardiff City and has gone on to make 121 league appearances for the club so far.
