Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that 16-year-old Gedion Zelalem will pen a professional contract with the Gunners when he turns 17 this weekend.
The talented youngster joined Arsenal back in 2012 after being scouted by Danny Karbassiyoon and has gone on to impress in pre-season tours and played in the Gunners' game against Coventry in the FA Cup last week.
Zelalem is widely regarded as one of the finest young players in Europe and the new three year contract will be a huge moment of importance for the young man's career.
The player has yet to decide whether he will represent Germany, USA or Ethiopia on an international level.
