Zidane reveals coaching plans

1998 World cup winner Zinedine Zidane has revealed why he returned to football. Before Joining Carlo Ancelloti’s coaching team at Real Madrid the Frenchmen was last seen getting sent off in the 2006 World cup final against Italy.

  • Since then he has been away from the game and only returned last summer into Los Blancos’ coaching set up.



    “I wanted to reconnect with the excitement that football brings,” he told L’Equipe.



    The former Juventus player said that he will focus on his current position at Real Madrid but eventually would like to coach his own team.



    The 41 year old also went on to say that he would want to become a balanced coach and his teams will focus on attack.



    Adding that, the things are clear in his head and that he has realized what he wants to do and how he wants to do it.
