Costa-Courtois swap agreed?

28 January 2014 - 11:17

Reports in England suggest that a deal has been agreed between Atletico Madrid and Chelsea for Diego Costa and Thibaut Courtois. Both players are currently playing in La Liga with Madrid.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • Brazil Born Diego Costa has been in sublime form for the Red and Whites and has scored 20 goals for the team fighting for the La Liga title. Courtois on other hand has been equally good after arriving on Loan from Chelsea three seasons ago.

English Newspaper Daily Mail are now citing the reports in Spanish media to say that a deal has been struck between the two clubs which will allow Costa to move to Stamford Bridge and that will include the Belgian to stay at Vicente Calderon.

The 21 year old goalkeeper wants to remain in Spain and has previously insisted that he will only go back to his parent club if he was the No. 1 choice in between the sticks.
