  • Barcelona are expected to lose their first choice goalkeeper Victor Valdes who will be out of contract in the summer as well as their second choice goalkeeper Jose Pinto who is also out of contract.

Reports in Spain suggest that both clubs are entering into the final stages of discussion although a fee is yet to be disclosed. However a five year deal between the player and La Blaugrana has been agreed.

The German international is a product of Gladbach youth academy and has gone on to make 91 league appearances for the club since making his debut in 2011.
