Benfica reject Manchester United bid for defender

Benfica have rejected a ten million euro bid for Ezequiel Garay from Manchester United. The Argentine has been linked with a move to Old Trafford since the start of the season.

Reports claim that the club president Luis Filipe Vieira rejected the offer outright as it did not match club’s valuation.



The Red Devils are likely to lose Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic at the end of season and it seems that another offer for the player could be made.



It has also emerged that Russian club Zenit St. Petersburg are also in negotiations with the Argentine and talks have been planned.
