The talented defender has been linked with a switch away from the club since last summer, with the likes of Manchester United and Zenit St.Petersburg interested in his services.



According to Portuguese sports newspaper O Jogo, Garay will be sold in the summer, should a club match the player's release clause, which now stands at £16.5m.



The Red Devils manager David Moyes is understood to be keen on adding defensive reinforcements for the next campaign, and is most likely to be in the mix for Garay's signature in the summer transfer window.
