Manchester United have reportedly enquired with Barcelona over the sale of Cameroonian international Alex Song, according to Sport.
The former Arsenal man has failed to make a mark at the Catalan giants since his switch in the summer of 2012, and this could entice him into making the move back to the Premier League with Manchester United.
The report claims that the Red Devils are keen on getting the transfer wrapped up before the World Cup finals in Brazil, with manager David Moyes believed to be preparing for a major reshuffle to the midfield setup for the next season.
Manchester United could make a bid of around £10m for the Cameroonian star.
