Inter Milan's veteran midfielder Javier Zanetti has denied speculation linking him with a move to Chelsea in the summer.
Reports yesterday suggested that the 40-year-old could be on his way to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, with manager Jose Mourinho keen on offering him a player-coach contract.
However, Zanetti, who had a good relationship with Mourinho during the Portuguese's reign at the Nerazzurri, revealed that he has no interest in leaving the club of his life.
"Honestly, I have a great relationship with Mourinho, we often talk, but we never talked about these things," the 40-year-old said. "I believe that Inter fans know what I feel about this shirt. I always said, to me, Inter is my life and that... my desire is to stay here. Say no more."
Zanetti made 145 appearances for the Argentine national side.
