Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna has been linked with a surprise transfer to Inter Milan at the end of the season. The Italian side have reportedly contacted Sagna's agent regarding a transfer move for the Frenchman.
Sagna has so far stalled on contract talks with the Gunners, despite manager Arsene Wenger's desperation to tie the Frenchman down to a new short term deal.
It is understood Arsenal are currently ready to offer Sagna only two years on a new contract whereas Sagna is looking for a four year deal.
With Sagna's contract at the Gunners expiring at the end of the year, the player will soon be free to discuss a contract with other Premier League teams.
