Arsenal are believed to be keen on extending the contract of star midfielder Santi Cazorla, according to The Daily Mail.

The talented Spaniard has played in key role in the club's excellent run in the Premier League this term.

It is understood that senior players in Per Mertesacker, Tomas Rosicky and Santi Cazorla could be close to commiting their futures at the North London club.



The Daily Mail claims that the 29-year-old could be poised to sign a new three-year deal with the Gunners with a weekly wage structure of around £80,000.



Cazorla has made over 50 appearances for Arsenal since joining from Malaga in the summer of 2012.
