Chelsea's Cameroonian striker Samuel Eto’o could be set to make a dramatic return to the Serie A with former club Inter Milan during the summer transfer window.
The Metro reports that the talented forward is considered a top transfer target for the Nerazzurri in the summer, with the club's owner Erick Thohir keen on strengthening the squad in order to challenge for major honours in the next campaign.
Eto'o, who made a surprise switch to the Blues last summer from Russian outfit Anzhi Makhachkala, has failed to solve the club's striker crisis having scored just 8 goals in 24 appearances so far.
The 32-year-old could be deemed surplus to requirements at the West London club at the end of the season and may well find himself playing with the likes of Patrice Evra and Nemanja Vidic at the San Siro in the next campaign.
