Samuel Eto'o has been linked with a surprise return to his former club Inter Milan at the end of the season. The Cameroon international has been told that he is free to leave Chelsea.
Eto'o has been on the receiving end of some offence from club manager Jose Mourinho last week, after reporters caught Chelsea boss Mourinho called Eto'o a 35-year-old instead of 32.
The Cameroonian has so far failed to set the Premier League alight as expected and could now be heading back to Serie A for a second stint with the San Siro side, where he spent two successful years between 2009 and 2011.
