Ambitious Turkish side Trabzonspor have made a bid to sign Man Utd's defender Nemanja Vidic. Their audacious offer will see the Serb earn nearly double his current salary at Old Trafford.

According to reports, Trabzonspor have already been in contact with Vidic's agents regarding a bosman transfer move at the end of the year. Inter Milan were amongst the teams linked with the burly centre back but it appears Vidic would prefer living in warmer climes and has indicated that Turkey is a more feasible destination for his next move.
