Langeler to turn down Heerenveen

05 March 2014 - 17:30

SC Heerenveen are headed for disappointment should they try and approach Art Langeler who is the head of youth development at PSV Eindhoven.

  • Fulham want to sign Liverpool left-back
  • Everton make bid for Oleksandr Zinchenko

  • The Frisians are looking for a new coach after Marco Van Basten announced that he will be leaving the club at the end of current season after joining in 2012.

AD SpoIrtwereld say that Langeler was one of the names that the club were looking at but the 43 year old who only joined the Boeren at the beginning of this season signing a four year deal plans to stay at the club.

Lochem born Langeler prior to joining PSV was the manager of PEC Zwolle whom he played for in the early nineties though he failed to make a single appearance for the club’s first team. Langeler won the second division with PEC and gained promotion to the Eredivisie in 2012-13.
