Manchester United are reportedly set to secure the services of Sporting Lisbon defensive midfielder William Carvalho at the end of the season, according to The People.
The report reveals that the Red Devils have agreed a fee of around £37m with the Primeira Liga giants for the talented midfielder.
Carvalho was given a tour of the Red Devils' Carrington training base last week and it is believed that the deal will see him join the club ahead of the World Cup finals in June.
Manager David Moyes looks keen on rebuilding the club's fragile midfield setup during the summer transfer window, and the signing of the Angolan-born star could well be start of good fortunes for the Scot at the Manchester giants.
United are also interested in signing Bayern's Toni Kroos and Southampton's Luke Shaw.
