Ashley Williams seeking move away from Swansea City

29 March 2014 - 11:41

Swansea City captain Ashley Williams is reportedly keen on a fresh challenge away from the Welsh club in the summer.

  • Chido Obi to leave Man Utd on loan
  • Chelsea star suffers hamstring injury on international duty

  • The centre-back who has played a vital part in the Swans excellent run in the Premier League in recent seasons, is believed to be eager to join one of the top clubs in the country.

The Daily Mail claims that Williams will refuse to put pen to paper on a new deal at Swansea, should the club offer him a contract extension in the near future.

The 29-year-old has attracted interest from a number of top sides over the past year, and is considered a possible summer target for Arsenal, should Thomas Vermaelen leaves the Emirates at the end of the season.
