Man City flop to join Feyenoord in the summer?

01 April 2014 - 23:25

Dutch outfit Feyenoord are preparing summer bid for Manchester City striker John Guidetti, as per Voetbal International.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
  • Guidetti is considered as an ideal replacement for top scorer Graziano Pelle, who is expected to leave in the summer. The Swede had an excellent spell on-loan with Eredivisie club during the 2011/2012 season.

According to Voetbal International, Manchester City could allow the sale of Guidetti for a fee of just €2.5 million in the summer, as he is unlikely to earn a starting place at the Etihad given the fierce competition for places in the attacking department.
