Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has admitted that star midfielder Yaya Toure could miss the remainder of the season with an injury.
The talented Ivory Coast international, who has been the City's top goal-scorer this season, was forced to leave proceedings in less than 20 minutes during the club's 3-2 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.
Pellegrini has now revealed that the former Barcelona star is unlikely to feature again for the Citizens this campaign.
"It will be difficult for Yaya Toure to finish playing this season,” said Pellegrini.
Toure has notched up 18 goals in 30 league appearances for the Citizens this season.
