Serie A giants Inter Milan are reportedly closing in on the signing of Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel, according to London Evening Standard.
The Nerazzurri are on the look out for a new defensive midfielder, and the Nigerian international appears to be the number one choice for the role.
Inter are set to have a major squad reshuffle in the summer, with business tycoon and president Erick Thohir ready to spend big to take the club back to its glory days.
London Evening Standard claims that the San Siro outfit are ready to offer more than £10 million for the Nigerian international, who is currently out-of-favour at the Blues, following the arrival of Nemanja Matic from Benfica during the winter transfer window.
The 26-year-old has made over 200 Premier League appearances for the West London club so far.
