Manchester City right-back Micah Richards is reportedly considered a summer transfer for Serie A giants Napoli, according to a report.
Tuttosport claims that the talented England defender is keen on fresh challenge away from the Citizens this summer. Adding to this, Napoli boss Rafael Benitez is understood to be interested in bringing the 25-year-old to Stadio San Paolo for the next campaign.
The Azzurri are keen on strengthening the club's defensive department in the summer, as they aim to provide tough competition to Juventus for the Serie A title next season, and consider Richards as a top transfer target due to his versatility to play at either right-back or centre-back.
Richards' appearances at the Mancunian giants have been cut down to just two this season, following the excellent form of Pablo Zabaleta.
