Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly set to allow the sale of striker Karim Benzema in order to accumulate funds for the signing of Liverpool star Luis Suarez in the upcoming transfer window.
Benzema has been in fine form for Los Blancos under manager Carlo Ancelloti this season, having notched up 23 goals in all competitions so far.
However, it is believed that the French striker is not considered as a fan's favourite at the Bernabeu and could be sold for a fee of around £25m come the summer transfer window.
Reports in Italy reveal that the La Liga giants are prepared to step up interest in Suarez by making a club-record offer for his services at the end of the season.
The Uruguayan international has been in excellent form for the Reds this campaign and has scored 30 goals in as many games in the Premier League so far.
