The talented French international has been a silent figure in the Magpies' bench in recent weeks, and has made just one start for the Tyneside club over the past month.

 

Ben Arfa is believed to be disillusioned with life at the club, and has recently revealed that manager Alan Pardew does not consider him as part of his plans for the 

 

Reports from the Italian press claim that the Capital club will make a bid for the player's services, as they aim to sway away interest from the likes of Inter Milan and a host of French clubs.

 

Ben Arfa has made scored three goals in 27 appearances for the Magpies in the Premier League this season.
