Inter Milan are reportedly set to make a bid of around £16m to land the signature of Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko, according to Sportmediaset.
The report claims that the Nerazzurri owner Erick Thohir wants the club to return to great heights in the Serie A next season, and is keen on putting a deal for the Bosnian striker before he heads to Brazil for the World Cup finals.
Dzeko, who currently has a year left in his contract with the Citizens, is unlikely to be in the recogning for a place in the starting line-up next season, with the likes of Sergio Aguero, Alvaro Negredo and Stevan Jovetic ahead of him in the pecking order.
