Liverpool defender on AC Milan radar

Toure heading for Premier League exit

Liverpool defender on AC Milan radar

04 May 2014 - 10:20

AC Milan are reportedly keen on securing the services of defender Kolo Toure from Liverpool during the summer transfer window.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
  • The 33-year-old who joined the Reds last summer from Manchester City, has found it hard to cement his place in the first-team, following the excellent form of the central defensive duo of Daniel Agger and Martin Skrtel.

Toure's future at the Merseyside looks in doubt beyond the current season, with manager Brendan Rodgers looking for a top-class replacement this summer, as the club face-off against Europe's elite in the Champions League next campaign.

Latest reports claims that the Rossoneri will make a move for the former Arsenal man at the end of the season, with the future of Philippe Mexes at the San Siro in doubt.

Toure has made 20 appearances for the Reds in the Premier League this season.
