Tevez: Henry's Arsenal offer

Man Utd striker Carlos Tevez has admitted that ex-Arsenal and Barcelona striker Thierry Henry had attempted to persuade him to join Arsenal whilst Tevez was playing at West Ham.

“On one occasion, when West Ham were playing Arsenal, I bumped into Thierry,” said Tevez.



“We greeted one another and he asked me ‘What are you doing playing for this lot? Why don’t you come and join Arsenal - it’s unbelievable you’re not playing for a club like ours’.”



Tevez eventually decided to join Man Utd on an initial loan period with a view to a permanent move.
